~make an Adjustment
07'
Milan has many interesting things, HighFashion does not seem to be one of them. So far the streets are loitered with hand crafted leather fanny packs, Loui Knock offs, cargo shantz, large men in speedos, make-out couples (hard core), minature dogs and provacative billboards. Funny to find out that Italians or the "milanese" LOVE american brands. They were hollister shirts with pride "California" "Wheres the surf" "Cali Girl", anything with an american logo "TRL, MTV", and apparently Levis are of the up-most elegant fashion. In Milan they run anywhere from 120-300 euro! yikes! something we take for granted in the U.S. for about 20-40 bucks. I think the most frustrating thing for me is that there is no coffee, its quite an adjustment. Its so strange not to see people walking with their Starbucks cups, instead they walk with a cone of gelato.
ciao ciao ciao

Piacere
What Made Me Smile Today...
Ah wish this was the bed I was sleeping in, I still feel pretty outta-wac from the plane. Its quite confusing to be so excited about exploring a new place yet home sick at the same time.
Only my second day of classes and I'm already drained. Cant figure out Italian etiquette, my teachers are all le-petite women who wear short shirts that show off their mid drift, they are so tiny yet they eat candy all day. I cant get my head around it, they also answer/text their phones during lecture and come late to class. I figured it was okay for me to snack on a plum while sticking my feet up on the desk in front of me.
what have I learned so far? "Prendo un Croissant di Chocolate." Fin

Me Myself And I
This Ones For me, This Ones For me, Not For anyone Else
These words have never been so true. I cant wait to walk along the cobble streets, pick out fresh flowers and yummy treats from the local markets and dine under the stars in one of the many beautiful Italian piazzas. Milan here I come!
This will be a good time to focus on myself and clear my head of everything that is going on in my life back home. Only two more weeks of school until graduation and then I'm off.

off
off
off
(Chorus)
It's time to move on, time to get going
What lies ahead, I have no way of knowing
But under my feet, bab grass is growng
It's time to move on, it's time to get going
Broken skyline, movin' through the airport
She's an honest defector
Conscientious objector
Now her own protector
Broken skyline, which way to love land
Which way to something better
Which way to forgiveness
Which way do I go
(Chorus)
Sometime later, getting the words wrong
Wasting the meaning and losing the rhyme
Nauseous adrenalin
Like brakin' up a dogfight
Like a deer in the headlights
Frozen in real time
I'm losing my mind
